Military/Government Climbing Courses - back to course listing
These specialized courses are open to any participants, but are designed with the special needs of military and other government units.  SACS instructors teach standard industry practices, but with a tactical approach, suitable for military, border agents, and others working in severe mountain environments.  We also offer discounted rates on equipment sales, and detailed and thorough instruction in their use, including military specific gear unavailable to the public.

What sets us apart from other climbing/guide services offering military instruction?
-Our staff are highly skilled climbers and guides with direct combat experience, from Anbar Province in Iraq to the borders of Afghanistan and Pakistan.
- SACS employs former instructors from the US Army Mountaineering School , therefore having a thorough and intimate knowledge of current needs, TTP’s, equipment, and unit METL’s.
-All SACS guides are AMGA Rock Instructor certified at a minimum.

Most participants will choose one of the scheduled 4 day programs, but feel free to customize your own course based on unit needs.  Courses require min. 4 participants.  Maximum ratio is 6 students to 1 instructor.
