Climbing is a life long pursuit, for people of all ages and abilities. We can tailor your needs - from “what is this rock climbing thing all about,” to knocking out some northeast classics like Whitney-Gilman Ridge on Cannon Mt., or Ice Climbing in Smuggler's Notch. Our guides are all AMGA certified and have climbed extensively in the area – many of the local climbs are first ascents by our staff. Tell us what you want to accomplish during your time with us and we can arrange it. All prices are determined by the ratio of climbers to guides.

Summer is on it's way, and we're ready! Sunrise Adventures has a summer schedule packed with climbing and bouldering around Vermont, the Northeast, and the country. The recent Joshua Tree climbing trip ended up with a detour to Yosemite for some long routes in 75 degree sunshine! We're ready for the local routes to dry out and see what's new in the ever changing Vermont landscape.

Plan on Sunrise Adventures Climbing School for your summer adventures - there will be affordable beginner rock climbing classes offered monthly, as well as learn to lead and technical rescue seminars as well.

Summer Schedule:

May 31, June 7, July 12 - Beginner Rock Days -Get your feet off the ground with a weekend adventure - this one day course covers all the basics to get out and enjoy an outdoor lifestyle. Curriculum includes knots, belaying, anchors, and lots of climbing. 4:1 ratio, $95. We provide all equipment.

May 31/June 1 - Learn to Lead Weekend - Take it to the next level! Hone your skills to head out on the sharp end with the most experienced guides around. Advanced anchors, gear placement, advanced belay and rescue techniques, multi-pitch considerations, and lots of climbing! 2:1 ratio, $275 pp
