The 4th annual Smuggs Ice Bash – the local’s ice climbing festival at the foot of Smuggler’s Notch. The big news this year? Alpinist magazine has made Jeffersonville its new home, living in sin with Backcountry magazine. The Brewski Pub and Grill is under new management, and has offered their group area to host the gear vendors – warm and toasty, parking & shuttle to the Notch, and FREE CAMPING out back! Please let us know if you plan on camping. For more lodging options, click here. SHUTTLE runs from the Brewski parking lot at 9:30 and 10:00 am to the trailhead, and from the trailhead back to the Brewski at 3:30 pm. More shuttles are available at the upper ski area lots, a short walk from the trailhead.

If you were here last year, you know you don't want to miss this year's lineup - the venue has changed to an indoors location at the Brewski Pub & Grill - centrally located 100 yards from the Triple Diamond Ski/Sports, No School Snowboard Shop; Stella Notte restaurant, and 200 yards from Smugglers Notch ski resort. If this is your first time, this is hands-down the most festive atmosphere combining all levels of climbing with a multitude of apres ski & climb establishments withing walking distance. Plenty of parking, and a free shuttle to the Notch!
